Gabby Hancock is the paralegal at Rust Injury Law, bringing a unique combination of educational expertise and legal experience to every client file. Originally from North Florida, Gabby earned both her Bachelor’s degree and Master’s degree in Education from the University of Florida. After six years as a teacher, she made the decision to transition into the legal field, beginning as a legal assistant before advancing to paralegal. Her background in education gave her a strong foundation in organization, communication, and advocacy — skills she now applies every day on behalf of the firm’s clients.
Gabby has experience on both the plaintiff’s and defense sides of personal injury litigation, giving her a well-rounded understanding of how cases are built, challenged, and resolved. Gabby and attorney Robert Rust share a longstanding connection, having graduated from high school together in Tallahassee long before their paths re-converged in Miami.
Outside the office, Gabby is married to her high school sweetheart, and together they are raising their two children, along with their golden retriever.
